On Nov. 20th, 2011 the annual, traditional "Winterwichteln" festival was held in Burglengenfeld. Every year in November Anneliese Steger and Gabi Wicht display their pottery for sale.

This years profit of the sale of Coffee and cake was donated to Caritas Mariana after Anneliese Steger came in contact with Stefanie Eichenseer, a volunteer at the Caritas Mariana Children's Home from March through June 2011.
