Help for slum dwellers and poor families

One of the goals of Caritas Mariana is to support the poorest among the poor with the most essential things, like food and clothes. Dontated goods that aren't urgently needed for the children's home or for other projects are being given to needy people. From time to time we visit slums, hospitals and remote villages where we distribute food and clothes. If we can afford, we pay the hospital fees for people who can barely afford living and have lost everything through sickness.

As another goal, Caritas Mariana supports agriculture and microbusinesses in diverse areas.
For example tools and seeds are being purchased as jump start. With this little help unemployed people can start an existence.
Our activities are not limited to the Thika District, but is extended to other areas of Kenya, as far as our means allow. Service to our fellow men is without limit, nobody is supposed to be discriminated, just as God is there for everyone.
